How does the balance system work?
When a friend does something nice for you (buys coffee, gives a gift), you add a positive entry. When you do something for them, you add a negative entry. The balance shows who has given more attention overall.
Is my data stored securely?
Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted and synced securely through your Apple ID.
Can I export my data?
Currently, data export is not available, but we're working on adding this feature in a future update.
How do I delete a friend or entry?
Swipe left on any friend card or entry to reveal the delete button. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure you've granted notification permissions to Balance in your iPhone Settings → Balance → Notifications.
How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings within the app and select your preferred language from the Language section. The app supports English, Russian, and French.
The app is showing incorrect birthday countdown
Make sure your device's date and time settings are correct. Go to iPhone Settings → General → Date & Time and enable "Set Automatically".
